    surveyor or plumber task?

Water system surveying I want to be informed if water meters could be installed inside the flat. I want to know which pipe to cut and where would be best to install it to minimise possible flooding risk inside the flat. We want to check the pipeline working of our flat as we have two water stop halves (one in kitchen, one in toilet). Water company had not been able to identify the sole external water supply pipe into our flat. And cold water can still run through after turning off the two water halves.

Swapping electric shower to mixer shower

Hi guys, I just moved into a new place and the en-suite electric shower is damaged and not working. it will be safely disconnected from the fuse board to avoid any surprises. I would like to install mixer shower to get more powerful shower experience compared to slow water flow from electric showers. I have a basin with hot and cold supply 2 meters away from the water inlet for the electric shower. Central heating is by combi boiler. As the cold water supply is already available by the electric shower point, would it be ok to pick up the hot water supply from the basin hot water supply? or what electric shower would you recommend so the hot water water flow could be as close to mixer shower as possible? Thank you.

    Back boiler replacement

I’m looking to buy a property that had a back boiler and replacing this with a combi. The kitchen backs onto the fireplace so hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a job to relocate the boiler. The house has no gas heaters but obviously the house is connected to the gas through the back boiler. I know that prices will vary; but is there a rough costing for this? It’s a three bed house. Sadly I can’t get a gov grant as I don’t qualify. Any help will be appreciated in terms of potential cost to expect and also is it best to get radiators installs first and then replace boiler?

Cost of fitting a scale reducer

Hi, I’ve been thinking of getting a magnetic / electrolytic scale reducer / inhibitor fitted to reduce limescale effects (mainly in the shower). Can you advise roughly how much it might cost to get of these devices fitted please?
