  • Painted living room window

My husband and I have a very out there idea for our living room window. We want to have one way glass window installed which is then painted over on the front to look like the inside of a living room. Is this possible or will the paint totally block sunlight getting in? We don't mind if we can't see much outside, we just want sunlight to come in. Is this at all possible or safe? Would it ever get planning approval?

Do I have to use undercoat after primer for white gloss wood paint ?

Hi guys I could use abit of advice, I’m painting my bathroom door using johnstones non-drip gloss white paint, it was previously paint gloss white but it started to flake away real bad so wanting to paint it again. I’ve sanded it down and applied one coat of Johnstone’s any surface paint primer last night, I was just wondering if I need to use undercoat on it too or can I just use gloss paint now ? How many coats of primer should I do first ?

Hey! I've read that I could station aesthetically pleasing baskets around my house for decorating. Do you have any recommendations as to what specific types of baskets I could use? And how can I ensure they will be safe? I guess keep them away from candles and electrics?
