Broken follower in kitchen door
I have an internal door which is shut and when took the door handles off discovered the follower is shattered, how can I get the door open to take out the barrel
Are 5 lever mortice locks a good choice?
Is a five lever mortice lock a good choice for fitting a new door lock? why/why not? And might it depend on the property/type of door I have?

Bedroom door handle wont open, hinge is other side of the door, can't unscrew handle, and door frame covers an inch of the door by the handle on my side of the door so haven't been able to get at the latch either. Any ideas what to do?
