Hi I have upvc door and i had problem with the key lock. I changed with yale and now i have difficulty to open the door from outside . When i turn the key and pull the handle down i need to move the door many times or to turn the key harder and feel like i will brake it. Is that the key lock or the mechanism of the door?
Is it better to have all of your house locks based on the same key? Or is it better to have several different keys? I can see on the one hand how having lots of keys can be an issue because the risk of losing one is more but then again, it may be better to have different keys for different locks so if you lose one key, it has less access. Overall, what do you think is the best approach? Thanks.
