  • Poor garden state and resale value of a house

I'm looking at a few properties right now. One has a garden that is a particularly poor state. How can I tell if the poor state of the garden has been taken into account as a percentage reduction of the overall value of a property? Should it be for that matter? I want to ensure I'm getting a reasonable price while weighing things up. Thank you!

Ground floor apartment window sill and plant pots

I live in a ground floor apartment, do I need to get permission from the local authorities to put some plastic plant pots with small flowers/plants on the exterior window sill to my apartment? Of course I'd ask my landlord for permission but would I need anyone else's approval beyond that?

Hey. I’ve a garden pond but there’s a few issues. It has stringy algae in it and the water is almost soupy? Despite cleaning the pond regularly, the issues remain. Do you know what might be causing this and how I could fix it? Is it easy/safe to fix DIY or should I hire a professional?
