What is the safest flooring option for fire safety?

Hi. I’m considering having new floors installed in my home. I’d like to know what the safest flooring option is when it comes to fire safety and to what extent that may depend on the quality of the product/brand? Thanks.

    Bowed living room floor

Hi, I've noticed a slight bowing in the floor in my living room/dining room. Our survey didn't pick up any subsidence so I don't think it's that but I think the issue might be with the wooden floorboards under the carpet. Googling has made me think I might need floorboards and joists replaced but I wanted to know - what scope of job should I be expecting to enter into? For a room measuring roughly 4m by 7m. Would it be a fix costing 1000s, tens of 1000s? Any help or advice appreciated.

Flooring issue - could be more?

Hi there, looking for some advice. Over the past few months I’ve noticed that the floors throughout my house (upstairs, downstairs, and stairs) feel creaky and bouncy. It’s mostly carpeted and was re-carpeted last year. I’ve lived here for many years and this is a recent issue — or I may just be more aware of it now. When the new carpet was laid, thick wooden dividers between rooms were replaced with metal ones, and I wonder if that might have caused some shifting. I’m also worried it could be structural damage or hidden plumbing issues, especially as the house is around sixty years old. I’m not sure how serious it is, which trade to contact, or if I should involve insurance. Feeling quite anxious and would really appreciate any guidance.
