I’m considering having a marmoleum floor installed in a room with computer servers. Can I ask whether it is anti-static and safe to install in such a room? Thanks.

Is natural stone or faux stone flooring better?

What is a better option for flooring and why; natural stone or faux stone flooring? Is faux stone flooring quite a bit cheaper to have installed? Just want an idea to help me become more informed on these two flooring options while considering them. Thank you.

    Price of natural stone flooring

I’ve noticed the prices of natural stone tiles and flooring can vary greatly. Why would this be the case and does price usually mean quality or does it really depend? How can I best judge when a product is of good quality, regardless of the cost? I’d like to find some high quality examples so that I can consider them and weigh up my options for a new installation of tiles/flooring in different rooms throughout my home.

Hi. I live in 1st floor 1930s maisonette. My loving room and corridor leading to it seem to have springy floor. Whenever i walk everything is shaking. Other rooms and kitchen seem to be much more solid. Living room is roughly 4m x5m. How can this be fixed? Do i need joist replacement?

How to lift or remove existing loose floor tiles?

I have had some tiles fitted recently which have not been fitted correctly which do not seem to have enough adhesive used. They are quite loose in some areas when they have any weight on them & can be quite wobbly in some cases. I want to lift off the tiles so they can be refitted with more adhesive. Is there any simple way for me to lift off the tiles without causing any damage to the tiles themselves and the floors beneath? Is there any tools that could be used for this specific purpose?
