What size cable should be used to power from consumer unit to my shed It will be running two fridges tv and a light
I tried to replace a pull cord, I cut the old one off and tried to unscrew the socket to loop the Bree string through, realised after it was much more complicated! I unscrewed a smaller white socket inside the socket and the lights went out and I accidentally dropped it with little pieces everywhere and have no idea how I can reattach the pull cord. Probably just need a new one? Issue is now the light was still on whilst it fell out and i can’t isolate the bathroom and turn that off only.
I want an outside socket for a dryer that is housed outside near the kitchen window the consumer unit is in a cupboard under the stairs in the kitchen will the socket need its own line from the consumer unit or can it be joined on spur to an internal plug and does it make a mess internally
How much does an electrician charge per day or per hour?
The surround of my bathroom lights are all rusty....tried many times to get it off but nothing worked... would like them all changed to another type that won't rust...

Does a vintage pendent light (art deco, I think) need rewiring to be fitted safely? What do I need do to make sure it works with modern wiring?
Hi, My garage has what appears to be a partially and likely badly completed electricity supply carried out by previous owner. There's a consumer unit with breakers fitted in the garage which is wired to several lights and plug sockets. I don't see any indication that this is connected to the house and so has no supply. There is an armoured cable coming from the consumer unit and out the garage roof. However, it goes back into the garage and is badly spliced to a old lawnmower cable. I think the intention by the previous owner was to plug this armoured cable into a socket in the kitchen to supply the garage. (Could be wrong but that's what it looks like.) What would be required to make this safe and functional? Thanks
