  • Bricking over a concrete path

I am currently planning my garden design, I want to brick over the current concrete paths so that new paths will all be uniformed with the exsisting paths. I can't afford to do all the paths at once, so want to make sure that when I do the paths, the borders, lawn area and patio are all at the same height as it needs to be wheelchair friendly. So my question is how much height do I need for bricks on top of concrete? Guessing its just sand then the bricks and then sand in the gaps but not sure the deph of base sand needed. Any advice welcome. Thank you.

    Engineering Bricks vs Stock Bricks.

We are looking at having our wall rebuilt, our understanding is that for very damp areas / north facing that engineering bricks would be the most durable act like glass when water hits / sits on them. Current wall has facing bricks all blown through frost and are saturated black colour. What are the key differences please? Any advice welcome. Thanks

    Removing surface debris from bricks

What can I do about bricks that contain surface debris? I’m talking about debris like moss, mould and dirt. Is this to be expected or should I look after this and clean it/remove the debris? If so, how can I go about this? Thanks.

cost to repair Victorian brick wall

In the midlands. What's the likely estimate to repair a brick wall with many spalling/frost damaged bricks? The wall is 1st floor, houses the bathroom. Damage is just on the south facing wall which is the most exposed. Estimate it's about a 2mx3m area and at least half the bricks are blown, some badly some just going now. Pointing also missing in places. Realise cost is hard without seeing it, but is this hundreds or thousands?
