Seeking Advice: Finishing Bathroom Snagging and Carpentry

Hi all, I’m looking for some advice on how to complete some unfinished work left by a previous builder. The main areas I need help with are: Correcting snagging issues in the bathroom (the previous builder claimed the work was complete, but it’s not). Installing skirting, architrave, and re-laying laminate flooring in specific areas of the house. I’m planning to tackle some of the work myself, but I’d appreciate advice on best practices for finishing the bathroom and understanding any legal implications from the previous builder’s incomplete work. If any experienced tradespeople are able to provide some guidance or are available to handle the carpentry, that would be amazing. Thanks in advance for any advice or help!

cost of removing and replacing a shower in a seven square metre bathroom

I live in Scotland. What sort of quotes can I expect to have a shower replaced? The bathroom itself is a seven square metre area. We currently have an old mixer shower but we’d like to have it replaced with a modern electric shower. What will a contractor like charge us as a total cost between labour, supply and any waste removal costs? As for the waste removal, will the tradesperson manage this themselves or will we need to hire a separate company/skip for this? Also, what sort of electric showers should we consider? We’d prefer a digital electric shower, something modern, up to date and long-lasting. What are the best products on the market that we should look into? Thank you for your time.

safety and professional advice for DIY bathroom remodel

I’d like to remodel my bathroom by myself. I have decent DIY skills and knowledge and feel that with the right preparation/research I can undertake the job. What should I know before going into this project that I might not consider? What sort of safety considerations do I need to take into account? Is there any work that I must leave to a professional as part of the remodelling?
