Are carpet door bars necessary for shared carpets between rooms?

Hello all
I am planning on having the same carpet fitted across multiple rooms in my home. 
Are carpet door bars going to be required even if it is the same joined carpet between the rooms? 
Will it help to keep the carpets fitted, neat, etc? 
Is there any other options instead for the door bars which still allow the carpet to be fitted across rooms?

If the pile goes the same direction you can heat seam the carpet in the doorways

As long as all the carpet is the Same in all the rooms you can have these joined at the doorways using a heat seam iron and a strong bonding tape. It is your preference what you want as both doorway joins and door bars will and should be fitted correctly by fitter

Carpet can be heat seemed in door ways if the pile is running in the same direction

yes definitely as it is near impossible to do a clean joint in doorway

Not much more of an option other than better quality, if you have a thick pile carpet usually the door bars can’t be seen as the carpet is so thick.
