"Scrapping can be a challenge if you use any type . You can do a good job but can end up damaging tge plaster behind the wallpaper if not done properly."

"Depends on wot is on the wall. It’s not all about the scraper, it’s about the process to remove it I:E steam it off, take top layer off then wet second layer. Off. Or a sharp angled scraper to get under the paper and remove that way"

"Any good quality scraper will do the job, as a decorator I prefer to use either a 4 or 6 inch one with a steel blade…."

"It is best to use a hard scraper .not one that bends .this is a filling knife...but really any scraper will do. Especially if you use steam stripper otherwise use warm soapy water let it soak some minutes then on you go."

"You can if the wallpaper is wet enough but you may want to use a thin filling knife to get behind the paper.
For heavier or woodchip you may require a razor blade wall stripping knife available in all sit stores
Best of luck

"Ideally a wallpaper scraper would be best but yes you can pretty much use any harden scraper to pull off the top layer then soak the backing paper with water and should come off easy enough"

"The best scrapers to use are the wider heavy duty ones with the blades. They will make light work of stripping wallpaper and save you a heap of time over the standard smaller metal scrapers."

"Shouldn't be a problem but a decent size metal one is fine to use with a steamer be careful not to damage the walls underneath but easy fix with filler"
