Can flushable wipes still block drains?

From an experts point of view are flushable wipes really ok to flush down the drain?

"Even though they are flushable, I would not recommend flushing anything other than toilet roll as these flushable wipes are thick and do not disintegrate and will for sure cause a build up in to a blockage.

"flushable wipes do still cause blockages, as these take a long time to degrade and get caught in the pipework.
I would not recommend putting them down the drain."

"Any type of wipes are a massive no no! They might flush but they don't disintegrate so they get stuck in the sewer pipe and cause blockage build ups especially if mixed with fat or grease."

"Yes if the pipes have slight damage to them the can get snagged up and great a blockage befor they resolve"
