Bridge tile put on my roof without permission

Hello
A few years ago my neighbour (terrace property) raised there extension roof and the builder without permission placed the bridge tiles on-top of my roof. At the time I challenged this with the builder and he assured me that the tiles had always been on top of my roof as I had no evidence I let the issue go even thought it has always annoyed me. Recently I found a picture when I first moved into my property showing that the tiles were not on my roof. I don’t want to upset my neighbours but I am not happy with the builder who misled me - do I have any recourse on this issue? Thanks

"You should have a word with your neighbours and ask them for the builders details who carried out the work and ask them to come and rectify the issue"

"Would always use a bonding gutter myself placing tiles on top of another roof and rendering isn’t ideal nor long term
I would be requesting this course of action taken if not then speak to your neighbour about him agreeing to split the cost
Once that render fails your adjoining wall will take a lot of water intake"

"The builder should never have lied to you in first place if you still have the builders name send him photo but could be two years too late for that.
Thanks"

"Difficult to get any recourse Herbie, main concern is no damage to your roof, sounds like he most certainly used your roof as a convenience to save the labour of taking them down and carrying back up again.
None the less he/we have no right using the neighbouring property without permission."

"I would personally get over it and be a good neighbour by not creating any unnecessary conflict. It usually doesn't end in friendliness."

"As previously people have said the builder should of never lied to you in first place some builders are very clever to miss guiding you if you’ve got he’s contact just give him a call may be to late a call wouldn’t hurt and see what you can do with them"
