Can my neighbour cut our boundary hedge without my permission?

If the boundary hedge is overgrown into your property, (yes you can if that particular hedge is causing a obstruction or access.

It all depends if your hedges are encroaching on his/her property, if so then it is either your responsibility to keep your hedges off his/her boundary or deem it acceptable for him/her to cut them.

If the Bush has overgrown and breaches the boundary lines yes they can however it would be best to ask them to speak to you in future before doing this

They can trim back to the boundary

They can cut anything that is protruding into there property. But cannot reduce the height or cut your side without advice from a solicitor
