Best treatment to remove carpet stains

I’m finding it difficult to remove a coffee stain from the carpet on the upstairs landing. What solution or treatment could I use to get rid of it?

Mix baking soda and water into a paste.

Apply it to the stain and let it dry.

Once dry, vacuum the residue.

Pop to tesco and hire ra rug doctor or ask friends and family, if any of them have a carpet wash vac, that will get it  out nice and easy

1.	Blot the stain with a clean, white cloth or paper towel to absorb as much of the coffee as possible.
	2.	Mix a solution of mild dish soap and water (1 teaspoon of dish soap to 1 cup of water).
	3.	Apply the solution to the stain, then blot with a clean cloth to lift the stain.
	4.	If the stain persists, mix equal parts of white vinegar and water and apply it to the stain. Blot again with a clean cloth.
	5.	Rinse the area with water and blot dry.
