Best insulation for partition walls

What's the best type of insulation to use in partition walls?

Best internal acoustic insulation would be rock wool  . If sound retention is not required, then rigid insulation would suffice.

It depends on what the stud wall is being used for as external wall I would celotex insulation and for interior walls normal rock wool insulation

Best insulation for a 100mm internal wall would be 100 mm ridged insulation kingspan or celtex.

You can use King span ,depending on thickness 50mm,100mm, or roll installation

I’ve always found the best insulation for partition walls is cellartex This comes in many different thicknesses, and it is easy to install.
