"In theory this should be ok. My question is if you go to the trouble and expense of new tiles then look to re do whole room. You really need to get a bathroom fitter, tiler or good plumber

Good luck"

"The best approach is:
1. Remove Old Furniture: Hire a plumber to disconnect and remove bathroom furniture (toilet, sink, etc.).
2. Prepare the Space: A tiler can remove old tiles and prepare the walls and floor.
3. Retile: The tiler installs the new tiles.
4. Reinstall Furniture: The plumber refits or installs new furniture, ensuring proper connections."

"A bathroom fitter is your best bet, i usually manage the bathroom fit from start to finish and do everything my self, because trying to get all the trades you need in the 2weeks will be very difficult"

"I highly recommend hiring a handyman for this type of job. Handymen are skilled and experienced in a variety of trades, making them efficient and versatile. In contrast, hiring separate professionals, such as plumbers or carpenters, may cause delays as their work often needs to be coordinated. This not only increases the overall cost but also extends the project timeline. A handyman can streamline the process and ensure timely completion at a more affordable rate."

"It's best to get a tiler, he will only need to take out toilet and vanity unit, depending if there are more base units"

"I do a lot of work for a bathroom/ kitchen installer. An order of work is required to achieve the best result. This is something we can do but would require a visit to see what is needed
