Average cost per block

Hi, I'm having a cavity wall built and the contractor has quoted me a per block price of £2.20. is this a good price? He has also quoted 7Op per brick.
This is just the labour cost as all the materials will be provided by myself.

"Hi yes that would be an average price per block and brick work depending what bond he is laying the bricks in"

"FAIR price in the current climate. Any where between (70p and £1.20) a brick depending on the style of brick. With regards to the price per block this will depend on whether it is thermal or concrete (density) generally any where between (£1.50 and £2.50) per block is adequate."

"Hi no £2.20 is to much if it’s concrete block then yes that’s a fair price but if it’s thermal light block then no"

"That's the right price for the blocks and bricks are normally a pound each unless your buying them in bulk"
