Air source heat pump system

Could anyone recommend a decent engineer that could carry out a service on these systems , as there Doesn’t seem to be many engineers at present around that can or are knowledgable enough to do one . Help and advice would be greatly appreciated as winters nears

Many thanks

"Finding a qualified engineer for servicing air source heat pump systems can indeed be a challenge, especially considering their technical nuances. Here are a few steps you might consider:

1. Manufacturer Support: Contact the manufacturer of your specific air source heat pump system. Often, they maintain a list of certified technicians or service centers trained specifically for their systems.

2. Professional Associations: Explore professional associations or organizations related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). They might have directories or recommendations for skilled engineers familiar with these systems.

3. Online Forums and Communities: Engage with online forums or communities dedicated to energy-efficient heating systems. Members often share recommendations based on personal experiences.

4. Local HVAC Companies: Reach out to local HVAC companies and inquire about their experience with servicing air source heat pump systems. Some may have technicians specialized in this area.

5. Online Review Platforms: Check online review platforms like Yelp, Google Reviews, or specialized HVAC service review sites. Reviews and ratings can offer insights into the experiences others have had with specific engineers or companies.

When contacting engineers or companies, it's essential to inquire about their experience specifically with air source heat pumps. You might ask about their certifications, training, and past work with these systems. A well-informed and experienced professional will ensure the efficiency and longevity of your system, especially crucial as winter approaches."

"We install heat pump systems and carry out repairs. Servicing is mainly cleaning to ensure the unit can get air through it. If you require any work carried out on the compressor we can arrange a AC engineer for you.
I hope this answers your question."

"As a HVAC engineer people only with FGas can break into the refrigerant side and repair it.
I have been servicing and repair all heat pumps for many years weather it's air conditioning or heating and swimming pool heat pumps.
the main things on a air to water heat pump other then the condenser is that all mag filters are cleaned out and that your flow is correct with a well maintained system it will run more efficient saving you money in the long run"
