"If you are replacing an existing thermostat with existing wiring I would suggest using a competent person if the boiler case is required to be removed for the installation then they would need to be gas-safe registered as well. If you go to the Drayton
wiser website you can input your postcode and find a business that has been approved and are local to you. Hope that helps and good luck"

"DIY, most of the time it's a straight swap. You'll be taking of your timer and replacing it with the xmart stat receiver."

"You’d better get a competent person to do it as these thermostats must be compatible with the boiler , you may have been able to program It after !!"

"Very. Although depending on where you want your hub etc depends if a diy type person can do it. Mount it next to your boiler then it’s easy. Although your not allowed to remove the boiler case"

"Depends on your level of skill.

Its 2 wires inside your boiler.

It does mean opening the case of your boiler so should ideally be done by a professional."

"Depends on the boiler. If the case is part of the combustion seal then you need to be gas safe registered"
